The Partridge Inn Restaurant | Our History

Once a grand Victorian home, built in the late 1800s, the Partridge Inn Restaurant has had a long history of ownership as an inn and finally as a restaurant of over thirty years. The niche of seafood cuisine has also spanned that time period, making us a unique dining experience in Vermont. Recently, being chef-owned and operated brings attention to the smallest details. Striving to keep a simple variety of dishes with seasonal interest and accents, yet preserving some of the old favorites produces a harmonious blend of new and old.

The three dining rooms, each with their own specific character exude a warm, inviting charm. Be it winter or summer, hand-hewn barn post and beams lend a rustic touch as the decor evolves into a French country feel – simple country elegance. A full service bar complete with a lighter fare menu is inviting for more casual dining.

Our wine list has been extended to include many countries of the world. We feature many seasonal specials by the glass as well. We support many small family-owned wineries who promote good viticulture through close stewardship of the land.
